The 2019 Latin American Studies Association (LASA) will include double-panel on Palestine, Latin American and the Caribbean. Organized by Assistant Professor of Arabic Studies and Comparative Literature at Williams College and Latin East participant Amal Eqeiq, the panel is titled Palestine, Latin America and the Caribbean: Encounters, Crossings, and Parallels.

The panels are organized with the support of the Latin America Middle East working group (LAMES) and will take place on Sun., May 26. Under the title “Nuestra América: Justice and Inclusion,” LASA 2019 will be held in Boston between May 24-27.

La edición 2019 del Latin American Studies Association (LASA) incluirá un panel doble sobre Palestina, América Latina y el Caribe. Organizado por Amal Eqeiq, profesor asistente de Estudios Árabes y Literatura Comparada en el Williams College, el panel se titula Palestina, América Latina y el Caribe: Encuentros, Cruces y Paralelos.

Los paneles se organizan con el apoyo del grupo de trabajo de América Latina y Medio Oriente (LAMES) y se llevarán a cabo el domingo 26 de mayo. Bajo el título "Nuestra América: Justicia e inclusión", LASA 2019 se llevará a cabo en Boston entre mayo. 24-27.

من ضمن برنامج مؤتمر جمعية الدراسات الأمريكية اللاتينية (لاسا) لعام ٢٠١٩ تُعقد جلستان متعاقبتان حول فلسطين وأمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبي. الجلسة المزدوجة تنظمها أمل إقعيق، الأستاذ المساعد في الدراسات العربية والأدب المقارن بكلية ويليامز والمشاركة في «الشرق اللاتيني»، وهي بعنوان "فلسطين وأمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبي: لقاءات وعبورات وتوازيات".

تُنظم الجلستان بدعم من مجموعة العمل على أمريكا اللاتينية والشرق الأوسط وتنعقدان يوم الأحد، ٢٦ مايو/أيار، ثالث أيام مؤتمر لاسا ٢٠١٩ المنعقد في بوسطن من ٢٤ إلى ٢٧ مايو/أيار، ويأتي هذا العام تحت عنوان «أمريكا قارتنا: العدالة والإدماج». ....
