As a cross-platform initiative, the Latin East brings together the North American Congress on Latin America (NACLA), the Middle East Research and Information Project (MERIP), and Jadaliyya magazine, three distinguished publications covering Latin American and Middle Eastern affairs.

NACLA Report on the Americas is the oldest and most widely read progressive magazine covering Latin America and its relationship with the United States. Published since 1967, the award-winning NACLA Report is a quarterly magazine of news and analysis.

Middle East Report is the print magazine published quarterly by the Middle East Research and Information Project. Independent and progressive in orientation, it provides critical, alternative reporting and analysis, focusing on state power, political economy and social hierarchies as well as popular struggles and the role of US policy in the region.

jadaliyya

Jadaliyya provides a unique source of insight and critical analysis that combines local knowledge, scholarship, and advocacy with an eye to audiences in the United States, the Middle East and beyond. The site currently publishes posts both in Arabic, French, English, and Turkish.
